With Your Destiny Welcomes October with a Flurry of Events

Here’s a copy of With Your Destiny’s Press Release for the month of October. I will continue publishing their PRs for as long as they send me copies.

Los Angeles, California – (October 3, 2011) T3Fun and WYD Global team is happy to announce not one, not two, but five wonderful events that will surely provide you lots of treats this October. Christmas is still months away but the contests and prizes this month will make you feel a very early Christmas spirit.

To start off is the much-awaited, “Red vs Blue: Match Awaited” Event! Enjoy fierce PVP battle as brave warriors from the Red Kingdom Akeronia fight against the honorable knights of the Blue Kingdom Hekalotia. The winning side will get valuable items like mounts while the defeated kingdom will still get consolation prizes for fighting until the very end.

Another event which is making a comeback is “Crystal Miners II.” All you have to do is defeat enemy monsters and gather their crystals! Players who can collect a decent sum of crystals will be handsomely rewarded.

On the other hand, Nell, the premium item NPC, has decided to give back some of his fortune to his loyal patrons in his “Nell Gives Back” event. Players who will top-up and spend a minimum amount of Tcoins will get 20% of their spending back in kind. As an extra, Nell will also give upgrading materials for your armors and weapons.

The WYD team is not done yet! Players, old and new, are encouraged to follow the Twitter page of WYD Global. In “Follow Me, Party Me” event, you can ask the Community Manager to party you, and you can be one of the twenty winners who will join the CM in hunting with x2 experience! If that’s not enough, the CM will also trade surprise items to all the lucky winners!

Last but not the least, WYD Global is also doing some video work. Simply subscribe at WYD Global’s Youtube channel and participate in the “WYDeo Detectives” event. Test your detective skills as you answer questions that can be found on the video. Your hard work will definitely be rewarded with a lot of good prizes!

October Events

Hello everyone! The WYD team has already announced their set of events this October. I saved the banners for the mechanics and will post it here.

The first is the “Follow Me, Party Me” event. This event is an event for their official Twitter page. The mechanics of the game explains it all. You just have to mention t3funwyd, your character name, and your chosen time slot, which is either at 4gt or 15gt. To those who are not familiar with Twitter, you have to go to T3FunWYD’s Twitter page and follow it (make sure you have a Twitter account. If you don’t making one is pretty simple). Here’s the link of the Twitter page: http://twitter.com/#!/T3FunWYD

You have to write @T3FunWYD before your message. This way, the Twitter page of WYD will be tagged in your message and it will show in their profile. For more details, here’s the event banner.

As written here, the prize is a chance to party with CM Keso or CM Blair. Some of you may ask, what makes this special? Well, the CMs have x2 experience boxes so hunting with them will gain you double experience. Also, they said that surprise items will be traded. Who knows what items they will give? Hehe.

The next event is WYDeo Detectives. If my intuition is correct, this may be like the Detective WYDian event for Youtube. Instead of just giving us some hints or pictures, they will upload a video containing a question. We have to answer the question, which I guess can be answered by watching the video. I am not sure what type of videos will be shown but I am quite excited since this is my first time to see such an event. The Youtube channel of WYD is this: http://www.youtube.com/user/t3funwyd

You might as well subscribe so you’ll get a notice that a video was uploaded. And oh! I forgot to mention that the prize is pretty big! I’m expecting that the questions would be quite hard to answer.

The third event is Crystal Miners II. I guess some of you are familiar with this since I think this was held just last August. I think the rules are clearer now since there have been some ambiguities in the first Crystal Miner event. In the first crystal miner event, people thought, myself included, that all types of crystals (1-7) are counted as one. However, those crystals are counted separately. So we can have 20 Crystal 1, 10 Crystal 2, 4 Crystal 3, etc. and they will be counted separately. It seems that the rules now state it that way.

I’m not sure if it’s easy to get like 30 or more of the same type of crystal in one month. But I think this event goes well hand-in-hand with the permanent Charity box event. More events for hunting mean more prizes simply by hunting AFK.

Another event is called Nell Gives Back. It’s an event to give WYD’s loyal coiners some bonus. I know that those players who are not paying for cash shop items may not be very happy about this event since they will gain nothing from it. However, please be reminded that it’s the paying players who are making this game alive. Without them, you free players won’t be able to play WYD. Unfortunately, it’s something that some free players don’t quite understand. Don’t hate the paying players and don’t hate WYD for these kinds of events. They are the reasons why the game is still operational and you can play this game in the first place. I think these coiners deserve to be rewarded every now and then.

Last but not the least, is the very anticipated, and very properly-named event, “Red vs Blue Match Awaited.” I’m not sure if I will join this event since I’m just a mid-level mortal and I don’t think I’ll be able to contribute a lot. But many veteran players may be happy about this event since it might be a huge and exciting battle.

I’m happy that we have a lot more events this month. We have a total of five plus the other permanent events. I think this month will be more exciting that last month. Let’s hope that I’m correct.
