Capture Skills

Hello everyone! As WYD players may already know, each character class has its own set of skills. These skills are categorized into three, and it is usually advisable to specialize on one of the three. For Hunters, one skill set is called Capture.

The first skill under this category is “Snick Attack” which I think should be Sneak Attack. Haha. Anyway, “Snick Attack” is the only activated attack skill for a Capture-type hunter. It’s basically a non-elemental attack to one opponent with a few seconds cooldown.

The second skill is “Dodge” which is an activated buff that increases your evasion rate. This is a pretty decent skill especially in PVP to increase your chances of survival and force your opponents to miss more attacks.

The third skill is “Hunter’s Vision.” It is a passive skill that increases your critical rate as you get more and more dexterity. This is a very good offensive skill especially if you are really pumping your Dex instead of Str.

“Improved Range” is the fourth skill in the capture category. It adds one to your range. For me, the +1 range isn’t really a big deal. It can help you a bit in Game of the Generals to reach a few mobs if players are surrounding the mobs. But since you’ll be getting this to get your Eighth capture skill, then get this as one of the last.

The fifth skill is “Venom” which is an activated buff skill. This buff gives your claws a chance to poison the enemy when it is attacked.

Sixth is “Flanking Chance” which has a chance of dealing extra and absolute damage when attacking. It is a passive skill so it is a really good offensive skill.

Seventh is “Weapon Block.” This skill passively increases your defense when you’re using claws. As you may have noticed, Venom and Weapon Block only applies when you are using claws. As such, it is highly recommended to use claws if you decide to be a Capture-type Hunter.

The eighth and final skill is called “Hide In Shadow.” It is an active skill which lets you become invisible for 6 minutes. It is a very good skill in PVP to escape from enemies, or to catch them by surprise. The possibility of dealing extra damage with “Flanking Chance” is also higher during hiding. Be wary though that invisibility will fade after you attack an enemy. Some players also have a Jewel that allows them to see hiding hunters. Nonetheless, “Hide In Shadow” is still a decent skill.

Double Days

Hello everyone! Did you know already about the news? The GMs are going to hold double days this coming Thursday until Saturday! Well, it might be a little late to give you the details for Thursday, since it’s Thursday already, but I’d just give the link so that all of you can see.

Basically, all activities and events are doubled today. For Friday and Saturday, drop rate and experience will be doubled. Charity box will also be better during those days since we will get Chartiy box 2 instead of 1. That means we have better chances of getting better items! 🙂

Sorry if I was a little late during this announcement.

PS:

Also, I heard that there will be no Answer the Newbie tomorrow (Friday).

Show Me The Hobby

Submission of entries has officially ended for Show Me The Hobby event. Voting is currently undergoing. I was both happy and thrilled to see how many people participated in the event. Of course I’m happy because I’m glad to see that the WYD community is still very active. On the other hand, I’m also thrilled since there are more competitors for the event. Haha.

Anyway, here is what I submitted for the event. I hope that you could like my entry in the fan page. Here’s the link:

I must admit that there are other people who submitted pretty good works, but I think mine is unique too. So I would like to ask my loyal readers to support my entry. If you’re not yet a fan of WYD fan page, kindly like the fan page first, then like this entry. Thank you very much! 🙂
